Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Melbourne & Daylesford
Dr Petra Bueskens maintains a small psychotherapy practice in Melbourne and Daylesford (and now on Zoom). She sees individuals and couples for short and long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy. Her therapy work combines insights from psychoanalysis and sociology with a focus on 'clinical individuality' (Chodorow, 2011). She is a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), the International Association of Relational Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists (IARPP) and the Gender Exploratory Therapy Association (GETA). She has become interested in psychedelics and plant based medicine given the recent success in treating PTSD, depression and anxiety with psilocybin. She has recently joined Mind Medicine Australia.
